Bookmarks & Downloads
A bookmark places an electronic flag at the web page you are currently looking at allowing you to return directly to that page at a later time.
A right mouse click or a click on the bookmark button on the browser menu will do the deed.
Since each browser is different you will need to read the help menu for information on filing and categorizing bookmarks.
This is the ‘check out a book’ function of the internet.
Documents, photographs, software,music, videos, you name it - if it’s on the internet it probably can be downloaded.
Set up a folder on your root directory[ i.e.; c:/downloads] and put anything you download in that directory. You may want to rename the file so you will know what it is.
NOTE: This is where the ‘virus demons’ live, so it is a good idea to scan anything you download with antivirus software.
